Powerhouse Contractors stands behind the quality of our workmanship and the finished result of every project we complete. Warranty coverage may vary depending on the type of work, materials used, manufacturer warranties, project conditions, and the written agreement for the specific job.
Workmanship Warranty
Unless otherwise stated in the signed project agreement, Powerhouse Contractors provides a limited workmanship warranty on completed work performed by our company. This warranty covers defects caused by improper installation or workmanship within the scope of work described in the signed agreement.
The specific warranty period, coverage, and any project-specific exclusions will be listed in the written proposal, invoice, or signed contract for that project.
Material and Manufacturer Warranties
Materials, fixtures, finishes, flooring products, epoxy products, appliances, hardware, and other items supplied for a project may be covered by separate manufacturer warranties. Manufacturer warranty coverage is controlled by the manufacturer, not Powerhouse Contractors.
If a material or product issue appears to be covered by a manufacturer warranty, we may assist with identifying the product or issue, but final approval, replacement, or reimbursement is handled according to the manufacturer’s warranty policy.
What Is Not Covered
Warranty coverage does not apply to damage, defects, or issues caused by:
Normal wear and tear.
Misuse, neglect, abuse, or lack of proper maintenance.
Damage caused by the property owner, tenants, guests, pets, other contractors, movers, or third parties.
Existing structural, moisture, electrical, plumbing, foundation, framing, or code-related issues that were outside the agreed scope of work.
Hidden conditions that were not visible or reasonably discoverable before work began.
Water intrusion, leaks, flooding, excessive humidity, drainage issues, or substrate problems.
Movement, settling, cracking, expansion, contraction, or shifting of the building or surface.
Owner-supplied materials, unless the issue was directly caused by our installation.
Unauthorized repairs, alterations, modifications, or work performed by others after project completion.
Damage caused by weather, fire, accidents, acts of nature, or events outside our control.
Epoxy Flooring Warranty Notes
Epoxy flooring performance depends heavily on the condition of the concrete, moisture levels, surface preparation, use of the space, temperature, humidity, and ongoing maintenance. Warranty coverage does not apply to failure caused by moisture vapor, hydrostatic pressure, contaminated concrete, structural cracking, heavy impact, misuse, improper cleaning chemicals, or conditions outside the agreed project scope.
Warranty Claim Process
To request warranty review, contact Powerhouse Contractors with your name, project address, project date, a description of the issue, and clear photos or videos if available.
Powerhouse Contractors must be given a reasonable opportunity to inspect the issue before any repair, replacement, or third-party work is performed. If the issue is covered, our responsibility is limited to correcting the covered workmanship issue at our discretion.
Written Agreement Controls
This page provides general warranty information only. The signed proposal, invoice, or written contract for your specific project controls the final warranty terms, exclusions, payment terms, and project obligations.
